“ Elevated Comfort Food That Hits Every Note! We walked in at 9pm and were welcomed like royalty: the staff was warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable. You could tell they cared not just about service, but about the food they were serving. And wow, the food. Every bite was a masterclass in comfort elevated to gourmet. *Mac & Cheese: Creamy, dreamy, and indulgent. The house-made béchamel sauce wrapped around the pasta like velvet, with just the right amount of cheese to make you close your eyes and savor. *Deviled Egg: Not your average picnic snack. This was artfully plated and bursting with flavor — the kind of dish that makes you rethink what a deviled egg can be. *Fried Chicken Sandwich: Let’s just say… OMG. A beast of delicious. Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked like it meant business. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it. This place doesn’t just serve food - it serves joy. If you're looking for a late-night spot that delivers on flavor, hospitality, and presentation, this is it. ”
“ Five years in Denver, and first time at Steubens. WOW! It is truly the gem of the neighborhood and my only regret is not discovering it earlier. From the friendly service our server Barbie and their entire team provided, to the delicious gluten-free options. I cannot recommend a better restaurant in the area. My mother with celiac disease gives high praise to their gluten free buns (extremely rare, if not ever) and for myself? The Connecticut lobster roll I ordered and devoured was superb. I will be returning & recommending. Congrats to the team! ”
“ This was a fun place to eat at. We were looking for a delicious place to eat in the uptown part of Denver. We ordered the fried chicken plate, the Reuben sandwich, and the fungi Philly sandwich. All of it was awesome. The fried chicken was very moist and had great fried flavor. It came with a scratch, biscuit which was absolutely wonderful. The Reuben sandwich tasted perfect and we ordered fries to go with it- that was a good choice. And as a vegetarian looking for something good to eat, the fungi Philly really delivered. The the sauce on the Philly was so good and the mushrooms were cooked just right. I added fries to my plate too. The staff were so happy and helpful in our choices when it came to drinks and food and where to sit in the restaurant. I highly suggest this place for a great meal in the uptown part of town. ”
“ Steuben's Uptown is everything you want in a diner. The menu is generally simple dishes that you can find anywhere, executed at a level you rarely get to enjoy. Their fried chicken is incredible, and the Nashville hot sauce is a revelation. The basic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, and mayo was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. The fries were just fries but fried to perfection. When I casually finished my burger after 30+ minutes the last fries were still crunchy. The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted as well as any food we ordered. Service was awesome at the bar as well. I won't be back to Denver anytime soon, but when I do I'll be coming back to try the pot roast, and lobster roll. ”
“ The food and service were great as always. The staff were very attentive about my food allergy, which was nice. I highly recommend the lobster roll. And don’t sleep on the stubie snacks or the bacon blue salad it’s amazing. ”
